The original plan on this SUMMER day? The Oregon Coast….but then the weather was like “nah, I feel like rain and wind today” so we threw a hail mary and met in McMinnville instead…. and it was the best thing ever! No wind, earth tones for days, sunshine, and the damn finest dressed fam you ever did see.

A wide open beach all to ourselves, sunshine, no wind, and one of the sweetest families evvvvvver makes this Oregon Coast family session another favorite!

With all that sunshine and this gorgeous family, this rustic session was a total success! 

A sun-soaked maternity session full of tall trees, flowy dresses, and flower crowns…. I mean how could you not win with that combo?

We took advantage of the dreamy overcast sky and an empty beach. Avery loved every minute of her toes in the sand and I can’t wait to photograph her boucny little curls again. 

Between all the rain last fall, the weather held out for this gorgeous family. The scenery didn’t disappoint and the touch of fog towards the end of the evening made this one of my most favorite family sessions to date. 

It’s really hard trying to set an entire day aside in the middle of wintery wet weather here in Oregon. We decided to throw a hail mary and just pick a day… and what do you know….sunshine…ALL DAY LONG. After sunset, you wouldn’t believe the color of the clouds headed our way!
